We have had some cooler weather where I live. Sure reminds me of fall. But here at the Mod Squad The Heat Is On!
It’s Barb Campbell and my challenge for you this week is to use heat embossing on your card or project. Not just embossing the sentiment, I need to see more than that…. as the Heat is On!. So come on and let’s see what you can do this week.
I have used the stamp from Power Poppy called Farmer’s Market for the front of my card. I stamped the background images of vegetables with Black Onyx ink and then again over the top with Versamark ink before putting on the clear embossing powder. This is a trick that I like to use, as it gives me a better results, than using black embossing powder. I only do this with black. Using the MISTI is great to make sure that you get the stamp in the exact place as the first time that you stamped it. Then I used Distressed Oxide ink in Peeled Paint to sponge over the images.
