CHICKADEE IN BARBERRY
This is a digital image (Chickadee in Barberry) and fun to work with as you can resize them to be smaller or larger. This is the original size here. After printing on white card stock, I used a Spellbinder, A2 polka Dots, to cut it out. Next the image is colored with copic makers. For the snow, I used glossy accents and then sprinkled on Frozen glitter. The HELLO is die cut from red foil paper with the Simon Says die. For more views and imformation, go to my blog by just clicking my name at the top.
Our clear high quality photopolymer stamps and inks are manufactured in the US and we are humbled to be serving customers in over 50 countries. Altenew’s name is inspired by founders’ desire to interpret classical inspirations in contemporary form. Alt in German means Old, and thus Alt-e-New represents the juxtaposition of the classical and contemporary designs.
Altenew is continuously innovating and is always striving to be at the forefront of crafting techniques and expressions.

I used the Wild Hibiscus stamp and matching Die sets and my sentiment is from the Beautiful Day set all from Altenew. Die cutting out the flowers from water color paper, stamping in Versa Mark ink and heat embossing in Gold. I then ‘water colored’ my pretty flower images using inks in Riding Hood Red and Garden Green. I find this to be the easiest way for me to water color, regular ink pads and a water brush.
Using 2 Cross Stitched Rectangles dies I created my frame. The inside cut was used as my base panel, which I splattered a bit of my ink on to. My frame has been backed with Fun Foam to make it sturdy and to add some depth and dimension. Adhering my pretty flowers to either side and I then just added a wicked lot of BLING to accent my corners. A third flower was cut and added to the inside for accent. Base card stock is Dusty Rose.
