Positively Negative

Hello, Judy Woodland here, and I will be your Host and Designer this week.

We hope you will play along!

Challenge

Positively Negative – My challenge is for you to create 2 different images, one light and one dark, then cut them in half and connect the POSITIVE and the NEGATIVE together. Confused? Read on, it will all become clear.

SPONSOR

Gina K Designs is a free online community featuring card making, stamping techniques and project videos for papercrafters showcasing stamps and other products by Gina K. Designs. A $20 gift certificate to the Gina K Designs store.

Here is my First Example

As you can see, I stamped the feather from the Gina K Designs stamp set Fine Feathers on white card stock with Gina K Designs Blue Lagoon Ink. Then I stamped it again on Blue Lagoon card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white powder. I then cut each image in half and attached the positive (white card stock) to the negative (Blue Lagoon) card stock. The patterned paper is from Gina K Designs Here Comes the Sun patterned paper pack. For more information on this card, you can visit my BLOG.

Here’s Another Example

For this card I used a Gina K Designs butterfly stamp from the set called Birthday Blessings. Inks and card stock are Gina K Designs Red Hot. The patterned paper is again from the Here Comes the Sun patterned paper pack. For more details, please visit my BLOG.
