Hello Crafters! It’s Barbara Campbell as your host for this weeks challenge.
Make it Sqaure
This is a challenge for me too. I often make an A2 size card, but this week, let’s go outside of our comfort zones and make a Square card.
Unabashedly upbeat. That’s pretty much the spirit ’round here!
Power Poppy appreciates the small moments of life just as much as the milestones, the inspiration you can find anywhere and everywhere. We want to soak in goodness and give back more goodness.
Since this is a real challenge for me, I started out with a square die cut from
Spellbinders, called Adoring Squares. That was what I needed to get me started. Once the dies were cut from water color paper and added to a base of the same, I just needed to decide on an image. I used this beautiful digital image from Power Poppy, Tulips in a Hobnail Pitcher, that I could resize to the one that I needed. I first printed it on a test paper, and when it was right, printed it on my Gina K layering weight white paper. It is colored with copic markers. I added a white bow for some interest.
